Radio Control is a convenient method of activating automatic gates and traffic barriers. We offer a range of digital transmitters and receivers with a choice of programming functions that include: Rolling code with remote programming and dip-switch type 40.6 MHz 433 MHz and 868 MHz.

A Digital Switch offers a cost-effective method for multi-user access. Other available control devices include: Key Switch, Card/Tag Reader, Push Button, Videx Audio / Video Entry Systems and Daitem Wireless Intercoms.

Safety is a very important part of any automation system. SEA safety devices include:

Photocells.
The most common type of device used to provide ‘hold open’ safety. Photocells work by emitting an infrared beam across the driveway. The infrared beam is constantly monitored by the photocell receiver unit, if the beam is interrupted (broken) the receiver unit sends a signal to the electronic control unit. Normally, photocells are used to prevent the gates from closing but they are sometimes used to signal the gates to open. SEA produce both domestic and solid aluminium anti vandal units.

Vehicle Induction Loop Detector.
Induction loops can be used to provide ‘hold open safety’ or ‘start’ inputs to open the gate systems. It consists of a coil of cable (loop) set just below the drives’ surface. The tails of this loop are wired back to the ‘electronic detector unit’. When a vehicle passes over the loop, the metalwork of the passing vehicle causes the detector unit to change state and signal the automatic gate system to perform the programmed action.

Safety Edges.
2 metres long with integral trigger wire and switch. These items are commonly used to provide safety on sliding gate systems.

Safety Gate.
A patented safety device for swing gates that measures the speed of rotation, providing greater levels of safety where pedestrian access is required. Full compliance with European safety regulation please contact for additional information.

Wired and Wireless Intercom systems.
The complete Atral / Daitem wireless intercom range from single property single handset systems, to larger multi-occupancy systems with booster radio equipment to extend standard operating ranges.
The complete Videx video and audio intercom range, for hard wired systems even linked to the standard BT telephone equipment.
The complete Neowave GSM Telephone based intercom system can be connected to ordinary telephone line or combined with a mobile phone system to make it a standalone system. Long drives, large number of call buttons are not a problem for this flexible system.

Electric locking systems.
Standard Viro latch or High security Cisa Hook electric locking systems for large leaves and high security installations. Electro-magnetic locking systems complete with mechanical shoot bolts also available.

Card readers and camera systems.

Warning Lamps.
A light with an amber lens that provides warning of a gates impending or actual movement.
